Christmas in Florida

Since our family is mostly in Michigan, and we visited at Thanksgiving, we decided to have a quiet Christmas at one of our favorite spots, Hollywood Beach, on the East Coast of Florida.  It's only a two hour drive for us, door to door, so an easy getaway.   Thought I would share a few photos from our new Christmas tradition!

 View from our room

 Sunrise Christmas morning!

Christmas parties on the beach, everyone says "come join us!"

 Nice spot of a refreshment

Hollywood Beach Marriott, our favorite spot!

Christmas breakfast view!

May not be a traditional Christmas, however, it certainly was fun!

Hope you had a fun Christmas too!

Jane, what a fun time you must have had! It looks so warm and inviting especially as we had snow on the ground up here in NE PA.

So glad you enjoyed your holiday.

This is just SO cute! My hubby grew up there as a matter of fact! We spent the day at Canaveral...I posted pics, too! Aren't we blessed! Holiday hugs!

It looks so wonderful. I miss Florida so much. I lived in Florida for 12 years and over the past several years we have spent several weeks in Florida every winter. Due to our selling the house and just now getting in the new house, no Florida sunshine this year. I'm glad about the house, but sad about my sunshine and sand! Happy New Year. I know it was a wonderful Christmas getaway.
