Living in Florida, I have always loved shells. When I see something "shell covered" at my local thrift, it is very hard to resist not bringing it home. When I saw this little flower pot covered in shells, I had to have it.
Right now it is empty on the shelf of my antique black wicker table. Thought I would share it with you.
I started sewing Flora Doora
bags several years ago for
friends, and commerically for a shop in Sarasota, Florida. My
bags have also made their way to France, for a country wedding and to a pretty little shop in Nannay. Since I have retired recently, there is more time
to enjoy sewing, decorating
and most of all traveling
(especially to France) with
my husband, Peter.
Comments from readers have made me realize how happy my Flora Doora bags make them, so I adopted the phrase "Spreading happiness one bag at a time". Makes it all so much fun!
